Thanks for the reply. I am already using theses. But I mean the hardware. I'd like to get a Xeon Phi Procsessor.

Intel IMC Academic Support

I am currently a Ph.D. student at a university. We have used Intel Fortran on Visual Studio IDE for a while but recently started more numerically challenging problem. I noticed the development of IMC processor Xeon Phi from Intel. I think it may be a good opportunity to apply the ICM architecture to our area. So I am wondering if Intel support discounted or free IMC processor for the academic purpose if I could submit a reasonable academic research proposal?

thanks!

I doubt it. Maybe they would have a discount structure for universities, but I suspect the order would have to come direct from the institution and not from a student. In any case, used X100 Xeon Phi cards are cheap.
