Is it possible to do XDB + JTAG debugging for the Intel Quark on Intel System Studio 2015 For Windows?

I have checked the product specifications and the only version that lists JTAG as part of the package is the Ultimate Linux version of Intel System Studio 2015.

Any help and information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you beforehand.

Regards

For Windows Target, that

For Windows Target, that capability is not yet available, but stay tuned for updates.

For Linux Target, you can do JTAG debugging on Quark through OpenOCD.

https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/using-intel-system-debugger-with-openocd

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Noah

Thank you; this is what I needed to know.

At the moment I am debugging Linux in my target.

Debugging Windows will be great too.

Hi,

Hi,

Just to add a bit about what Noah had mentioned above. You can debug the basic Non-OS features like BIOS/Firmware debug of Intel Quark using XDB. However cannot debug the Windows* OS related features like device driver debug and so on. But you may wait for the updates.

Regards,
