<title>topic Chipset Identification on 64-bit operating systems? in Software Archive</title>
    <link>https://community.intel.com/t5/Software-Archive/Chipset-Identification-on-64-bit-operating-systems/m-p/884673#M9677</link>
<description>If I'm running a 64-bit operating system such as Vista x64, how can I detect the chipset with Intel's chipset identification utility? It appears that Intel only has a Vista 32-bit download, and I don't see any 64-bit downloads for the chipset identification utility. If there is no 64-bit tool, does Intel plan to create one eventually, or do customers need to reboot into a 32-bit OS to use their tool (or use another tool which supports 64-bit)? Thanks.</description>
