Intel Parallel Inspector

Hi,

When I try to launch Inspector using an exe that I know is a executable binary - I get this error message:

Cannot Start Analysis

File "....exe" is not an executable binary.

The exe run fine both in debug/no debug mode.

Any ideas?

Please, give us some more information:

Which OS (32-bit or 64-bit)?
Which Inspector build number?
Which type of analysis?
Do any other executables work fine with Inspector?

One more question needs to be clarified. Is that project/exe located on the shared drive (mapped or linked)?

- XP 32 bit OS
- Evaluation copy (downloaded on May 26, 2009) - cannot find any build number
- Analysis type: Threading errors
- Tried the tutorial sample (banner) - seems to work fine
- Every thing (project, exe, MVS2008 and Inspector) are located on the local drives
