Hello, may I ask that this CPU J4125 supports intel ® Software Guard Extensions, but recently some partners have reported that intel will stop the IAS certification function of J4125 CPU, may I ask whether Intel has a plan in this regard? If so, what exactly does the plan look like? What are the implementation standards and time? Or is it going to happen soon? I am very concerned about this plan, and I am worried that my device will no longer be able to use SGX functions. Please tell me if you know, thank you!

Thanks for your patience.

The CPU J4125 supports Intel ® Software Guard Extensions. You may refer to these Product Specification.

Currently, IAS authenticates clients using only Enhanced Privacy ID (EPID) or Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA).

Intel no longer on-boards new customers using the old certificate-based authentication. It’s only there for legacy IAS customers and will soon be discontinued completely.

Hi Mr17,

As for now, Intel has not announced any plans to discontinue support of SGX on

CPU J4125.
