Hello.

This utility has been end-of-life'd. You should be able to "Enable" SGX manually in the BIOS, if your system/CPU actually supports it. This is all that utility did... enable SGX via a BIOS UEFI variable that the BIOS would read on next boot and enable the SGX feature.

Hi,

I want to reinstall Windows 11 and wants to activate SGX again, but in the Microsoft Store the download link from the "Intel(R) Software Guard Extensions Activation APP" ist not working. Where can I download the APP?

Or ist there an alternative solution to activate this security function, which was an function of my PC and I have paid for?

Thanks!

Best regards

One other note... the Windows SGX SDK does include a sample called "SampleSGXEnable" that you can compile yourself and do the same thing as the util that used to be on the Windows Store.

I've tried this on my 9900K+Z390 system. I enabled SGX in the BIOS instead of leaving it on Software Controlled. I have a compatible GPU according to Cyberlink's Ultra HD Blu Ray Advisor utility, but it will won't enable in Windows 11 24H2. Is it permanently disabled in this version Win 11 and do I need to rollback to Win 10?

I found a tool made by Corel that checks and it works. A random forum post I found said that the Cyberlink utility has a bug in it which causes the SGX check to fail. SGX is showing as enabled in the Corel tool.
