topic Disable self-snoop on Intel CPUs in Software Tuning, Performance Optimization & Platform Monitoring

Hi everyone,

I read from the following post that self-snooping feature can be disabled manually, but I could not find any way to accomplish this from any official document. Do anyone kown about how to do this?

    http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-xen/2009-September/000316.html

Additionally, It seems that instruction cache snooping can be disabled on the Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessor.

    http://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2013/05/15/disabling-instruction-cache-snooping-on-xeon-phi

Thanks in advance.
