topic Multiplexing PMU counter in Software Tuning, Performance Optimization & Platform Monitoring

Hello,

I am interested in multiplexing a PMU counter for counting different types of events for various periods of time. For example using counter ID 0 to count alternatively LLC_MISSES for 2 seconds and LLC_REFERENCES for 3 seconds.

The question would be if there are some issues with this approach and in that case is there any workaround ?

Thanks in advance,
