XTU "exited unexpectedly"

Laptop is Lenovo P52, i-7 8850H, w10 64pro (10.0.19042).

Intel XTU 7.3.0.33.

Since a month or so, at every boot XTU profile is not applied. When opening the app, is giving a message "The application exited unexpectedly ...". Same happened also with the just previous version of XTU.

After applying again my profile, all is good, until the next boot. I am using the same undervolting profile two years now, with no problems.

XTU's "System Information" says "Watchdog present=supported", "Running at boot= false", "failed=true"

It looks like that XTU gets confused by the normal system shutdown.

Is there any solution on this?

Your processor is not supported by XTU. XTU only supports X and K processors.

Stop it right now with this trolling crap.

If you look at the xtu download page, see if you can find your processor in the supported list.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29183/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU

Also, note the "Intel XTU may or may not work on unsupported processors."

Your processor is not supported, plain and simple.

Additionally, undervolting is not supported due to security concerns.

i have a i9 14900K and on reboot sometimes the changes stick, sometimes they don't....and I keep getting the unexepectedly quit also. I shouldn't even have to drop my CPU down just for web browsers to stop crashing on me.
