    <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Sirs,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not familar to write questions, please excuse me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I try to install Intel vtune on a ubuntu 24.04 OS. I got&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;--&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Software Pre-requisite Check | Intel® VTune(TM) Profiler&lt;BR /&gt;--------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;There are one or more unresolved issues based on your system configuration a&lt;BR /&gt;nd component selection&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can resolve all the issues without exiting the installer and re-check, o&lt;BR /&gt;r you can exit, resolve the issues, and then run the Installation again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Critical Pre-requisites:&lt;BR /&gt;(Must be resolved before Installation can begin)&lt;BR /&gt;There is a newer version of the product installed on the machine: In&lt;BR /&gt;tel® VTune(TM) Profiler, v. 2025.7.0+246&lt;BR /&gt;Installation of the older version is not allowed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Next Quit&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;--&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But this is the newest version of the vtune software on your internet&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;page. I can not find any other newer version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is somebody&amp;nbsp;there to give me some hints to improve my installation?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&amp;nbsp;very much in advance.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Have you checked what is installed in /opt/intel, maybe as part of oneAPI? If there is a version of VTune installed already, it might be an option to simply use that. Otherwise, you should be able to run the uninstaller from that VTune installation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this doesn't solve your problem, I suggest that you ask your question the Analyzers group:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.intel.com/t5/Analyzers/bd-p/analyzers" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.intel.com/t5/Analyzers/bd-p/analyzers&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
