Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the Intel SST Audio Bus / OED, which terminates the audio endpoint whenever no audio stream is active. This results in a noticeable very loud buzzing noise from external speakers connected via the headphone jack.

I have not encountered this problem on other Intel-based systems that do not use SST audio. To troubleshoot, I attempted to disable the power-saving options in Device Manager; however, these settings are automatically overwritten upon reboot due to the driver’s INF configuration.

I have tested this behavior on both Windows 10 (22H2) and Windows 11 (26H1), and the issue persists across both versions.

Could you please advise on possible solutions or workarounds? If additional information is required, I would be happy to provide it.

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards
