Hi!

Is there a guide to get started with Intel AMT (or if it nowadays is called EMA)?

I'm using a Windows 10 workstation on an internship at a company that aren't handling their computers (all Dell) in a central managed way and I'm wondering if Intel doesn't have the means to get a better grip on the environement?

I've been reading quite a lot of the products in the headline but I can't seem to get a grip on how to get it to work!

Can you maybe provide me with a good guide on how to get started with Intel AMT/EMA?

Preferrably without the need for any servers since all I got is my Windows 10 computer

We are glad to know you are interested in Intel® AMT.

Intel® AMT is the remote access feature of the Intel® vPro platform. Remote access with AMT requires Intel® vPro in the motherboard, processor, and embedded network card. Usually, OEM systems with the vPro sticker are capable.

In addition, it will be necessary to use software to manage access to the systems (client-endpoint) from a machine (host); Intel provides the software called Intel®'s Endpoint Management Assistant (EMA).

Intel® EMA requires a server, it could be physical or a virtual machine plus a database. There are more programs available in the market that use AMT (even Dell has an option for business environments).

I am sending basic documentation and videos about Intel® AMT and EMA and a third-party tool called MeshCommander.
