      <title>Getting error 94 on bootup. Intel Desktop DP35DP</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure I'm posting on the correct forum.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;I'm using the Intel&amp;nbsp;&lt;A class="" href="https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/Windows-7-installation-DP35DP-AHCI-or-Raid-driver-does-not-work/m-p/267262?search-action-id=381286380613&amp;amp;search-result-uid=267262" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Desktop board DP35DP for an old computer I use for web browsing.&amp;nbsp; I tried to install a replacement video card. It freezes before it gets to&amp;nbsp; the desktop. So I put the old video card back. During the video card troubleshooting&amp;nbsp;and install/reinstall, I'm getting error 94. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;&lt;A class="" href="https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/Windows-7-installation-DP35DP-AHCI-or-Raid-driver-does-not-work/m-p/267262?search-action-id=381286380613&amp;amp;search-result-uid=267262" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Actually, I'm not sure it's an error. Usually, I get two letters, BA on the lower right of the screen when I start up the computer. Now I'm getting instead 94. I looked online and 94, is an error that refers to not having or recognizing the keyboard.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I can't seem to find a firmware update for the chipset. I figured firmware might resolve the problem.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I should mention boot up is slow. Usually when I get the 94, I wait a while, give up and turn off the computer. One of the times, I forget and leave the computer on 94 for a long while. It finally reaches the desktop.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;During booting, I see letters and number changing at the bottom right side of the screen.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I figured those alphanumeric characters is just the board testing or confirming aspects of the board. But when it gets to 94, it stops, and usually don't get to the desktop.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is 94? How do I speedup the bios/startup process if possible. I'll try again to see if the computer freezes at 94. I'll provide an update to this post.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Depending upon what version of the BIOS core was being used at that point, that POST code could either refer to keyboard issue or it could refer to a problem with the PCI Bus. I am leaning towards the latter. There are major compatibility issues with the older Intel Desktop Boards and the more-modern graphics cards. What particular graphics card are you attempting to use?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;...S&lt;/P&gt;</description>
