Here is the official info on tested memory for your board: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d850mv/sb/cs-009912.htm http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d850mv/sb/cs-009912.htm

The test lab results are here: http://www.cmtlabs.com/mbCertPartSearchResults.asp?sManuf=Intel&bNav=True&sMN=D850MD/D850MV&oSubmit=Search http://www.cmtlabs.com/mbCertPartSearchResults.asp?sManuf=Intel&bNav=True&sMN=D850MD/D850MV&oSubmit=Search

(all the modules are now EOL). The internal tested memory results are here: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d850mv/sb/CS-009913.htm http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d850mv/sb/CS-009913.htm

I don't think we test the Dell upgrade memory in our motherboards. You can look at the list of tested memory and maybe get a good idea about the Dell memory.
