A few months back I've posted the/docs/DOC-2517 vPro Activator LiveCD utility, which helps perform bare-metal provisioning of vPro system. Last month my friends at the DO SMB team, Teri and Abdul presenested a session on vPro SMB enablement at IDF 2009 in San-Francisco. One of the topics in the session was a real-world usage of the Activator LiveCD for Management Service Providers:

To download the entire presentaiton go to:

http://www.intel.com/go/idfsessions then search for:

Search for items containing: PROS004

     in the: Session ID

I'm trying to find the vPro activator to no avail. I believe my laptop OEM disabled vPro/AMT. I clicked on the LiveCD download link, but it now points to a 404 on a car parts website.

Andrew,

Activator is and old product, please use ACUWizard. You can find ACUWizard inside the Intel SCS folder which can be downloaded here.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20921 Download Center
