topic Managing Intel Matrix Storage Manager in Intel vPro® Platform

Hi there,

I tried to find the answer to this question and I'm browsing different forums for second day now, so any help will be appreciated. I just hope this is correct forum...

Abyway, I have a lab with 20+ machines with XPPro 64-bit. We have removable SATA (actually, eSATA) hard drives (data only, no OS files on them) and every student is supposed to get one to store graphical and video files. However, at the moment I couldn't find the way to allow limited user to plug in or unplag removable hard drives. When I start Intel Matrix Storage Manager as limited user, it doesn't even show the option to rescan the ports. Please let me know if there is any way to do that.

Thank you!

IvanHR_28
