Hi,

What are the benefits in the new Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168?

I'm curious to know whether to replace my 3165 with 3168, or not. It's about $20. We never recommend replacing your wireless adapter. And in this case, the risks far outweigh the possible benefits.

The Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 and the older 3165 have very similar features (one could say that the 3168 is just a revision of the 3165).

If you are looking for an upgrade adapter, then our recommendation will be to check with your computer manufacturer for pre-approved upgrade parts.
