Hi Aleki,

I had already used the driver from provided link, thts how the Adapter came up and Linux was able to detect it,

My question is very specific to the intel chipset, which has nothing to do With Linux support.

Linux task was to create multiple subinterface he did it correctly, his task of connecting to AP he is doing correcltly

Now only one interface is connecting at any point is relevant with the chipset, I think the technical Word is mutiple - Vif support

Could u confirm me whether the intel chipset has the capability, can we have mutiple Wirless virtual STA and all are connected.

I dont think it has anything to do Linux, if it is then could u help me to get more info on this.

Thanks Alkei for Quick response, Rephrasing the Query altogether.

I am the part of Cisco QA Wifi Team and was looking for Wifi cards supporting 11r 11w 11k. This thread was helpful to me for successfully testing 11w with intel 7265 cards

Testing 11r looks doubtful, and is not working with wpa2-FT-PSK.

Thread 8: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-briefs/dual-band-wireless-ac-7265-brief.pdf Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 - PRODUCT BRIEF

dose not talks about 11r support with 7265

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000021562.html Windows® 10 and Supported Intel® Wireless Adapter Protocolshttp://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-briefs/dual-band-wireless-ac-7265-brief.pdf

windows 10 supported with intel 7265

IS 11r supported?, if yes, do i need to install some other patches, ? I am using Latest driver 19.1

Appreciate your help

Thx

Asies

Intel Team,

Intimated in the other intel thread that with latest intel driver 11r is working , now i am testing 11k with 11k supported wlc/AP, i am using intel 7265 (windows) expectation is should work, i see AP is broadcasting beacon with spectrum mamnagement nit set and (and all required IE like Power contraint country code etc) I dont see the same spectrum managment bit set either in any probe Request or assoc request. Looks Like 11k is not supported. do u have any open bug or u want me to open the bug

Let me know how do u want to give a go ahead.

I have become an indirect tester for your chip already tested 11r and 11w with all cisco latest WLC/AP !!!!

I am sure we continue the same for supported porotocols
