Thank you for your post silvershadow.

You are correct in regards to the fact that you could not find any official drivers for Windows* server 2008 r2. Our wireless adapters are not designed, tested or supported on server Operating Systems. Nevertheless the Operating System may already have base drivers for the wireless or you could try the drivers for Windows* 7 64 bit.

This is out of the scope of our support but, something else that may be happening is that you may need to enable a service to get the wireless to work correctly, see the link below:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsserver2008r2general/thread/3a6a23f1-2098-48d3-87ee-c1115a5ef26c http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsserver2008r2general/thread/3a6a23f1-2098-48d3-87ee-c1115a5ef26c

NOTE: This link is being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.

I hope this helps

Hi

I have an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 on my DELL XPS laptop. I have reinstalled the device with Windows 2008 R2.

All device drivers seem to work but I am unable to connect to any wireless network. (There are none available)

As far as I found there are no 'official' drivers for Windows 2008 although they should be compatible.

Anyone, any idea how I can make the device work ?

Tx a lot for your help

Johan
