topic what is the Intel Pro/Set executable? in Wireless

SInce installing Norton Internet Security, my connection drops repeatedly throughout the day. When I try to reconnect I get the message "Problem Applying Profile" and have to reboot to reestablish connection.

I've tried the fixes suggested here http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/cs-023093.htm and here http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-022793.htm - to no avail. I've also tried having Windows manage my wireless connections, and that too has problems.

Norton Tech Support suggests I configure my firewall to allow access by the program executable. When I check the Bin folder under Intel, I see several executables, but I don't know which one to use - is it Dot1XCfg.exe ?

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not entirely sure this will fix it, because now I'm seeing the problem even with the firewall turned off.
