Hello wireless-n-1030,

We understand you're having permission issues while using Local RPC.

Please bear in mind that the Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030 has been https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006507/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html discontinued and is no longer applicable for support.

We did notice that you're using an older driver, which you may have tried to update by installing our latest Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software package. This latest version did not contain any drivers for your adapter. Our best recommendation will be to perform a clean driver install using the latest package for your wireless adapter:

1. Download and save our https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27042 latest Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for your adapter.

2. Under Programs and Features in the Control Panel, uninstall any instance of the "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software." When prompted, choose to "discard settings."

3. Go to the Device Manager > Network Adapters > Right click on your Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1030 and uninstall it. Make sure to select the option to "Delete the driver software for this device."

4. Clear out your temporary files: Press the Windows* Key + R to open the run box. Type Cleanmgr.exe and press OK. Here you will need to make sure Temporary Files are checked, you may uncheck everything else then press OK.

5. Install the Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software that was downloaded back in step one, and reboot once the installation has completed.

This should update the driver from your adapter from version 15.1.0.18 to 15.11.0.9, clear out any problematic settings and more than likely get you back to working order.

Best regards,

Carlos A.
