topic AX201 MODEL Question? in Wireless

I USE DELL G3 3590 Laptop Models

The processor is using I7-9750H.

The module is in use with the AC9560 module. Can I change it to AX201? Is it compatible? I'm asking you because there's a rumor that only 10th generation or more can be used.

It's not a rumor; it's fact. The AC9560 uses the CNVi (a.k.a. CNVio1) interface whereas the AX201 uses the CNVio2 interface. The CNVio2 interface is supported by Intel 400 Series chipsets and 10th generation Intel Core processors.

Apparently, Intel's guidance is to use the AX200 module with motherboards that support Intel 300 Series chipsets and 8th and 9th generation Intel Core processors.

...S
