Hello AAndr100,

Thank you for posting on this Intel Community.

To better assist you, we would like to have more information about your computer such as the operating system build number, computer model, etc.

Please run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach the report to this thread.

1. Download the Intel® System Support Utility and save the application in your computer.

2. Open the application and click "Scan" to see system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".

3. To save your scan, click Next and click Save.

Also, where are you downloading this driver version from?

Wanner G.

Intel Customer Support Technician

A Contingent Worker at Intel

Hi, running Windows 10 x64 build 1903. The laptop is a HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-ba0xx. I've attached the output from the Intel System Support Utility. I'm downloading this from:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/94854/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-3168

Then filtering on Win 10 x64, then the 2nd download (Windows 10 wifi drivers)

Any assistance, much appreciated. The original issue I'm trying to fix is that the laptop will sometimes say connected, but no internet.

Hello AAndr100,

Thank you for your response.

If you are connected to Wi-Fi, but no Internet connection is detected, it usually means that your computer could not get an IP address from your router/Access Point.

Have you tried restarting your router/AP?

Are other devices having this behavior?

Make sure the router/AP are running the latest firmware update available.

If the issue persists after checking the information provided above, please follow these steps to reinstall the Wi-Fi driver.

Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers

First, try these steps with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) drivers available for your computer. Please verify your computer model and operating system before installing these drivers. We recommend reinstalling the both the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers.

HP Pavilion 14-ba000 x360 Convertible PC > Driver-Network

If the problem persists, try using the drivers available at the Download Center one more time.

Windows® 10 Wi-Fi Drivers

Intel® Wireless Bluetooth®

Wanner G.

Intel Customer Support Technician

A Contingent Worker at Intel
