Upgrade Nuc11 WIFI To a 6E capable adapter

Hello:

I just purchased a NUC 11 a few month ago. I want to upgrade the Wireless adapter to a 6E capable adapter.

Does making this kind of change affect my warranty? I called intel support twice first call was just dropped, second call was short, and some indifferent to my question almost rude.

Intel sells the support parts that support VPro also.

Why are they so difficult and uninformative?

I just want to understand my options and which card I should be purchasing as the best option.

I am a bit confused with Intel CNVio vs CNVio2 which one is being used by Intel NUC 11 does this impact the model of intel WiFi 6E card I would purchase for my upgrade.

We apologize for any inconvenience. In reference to your question about the warranty, that is correct. Changing the wireless card that came integrated into the Intel® NUC will void the warranty on the product. Actually, it is always recommneded to use the device at stock configurations with the default BIOS settings as well.

Regarding your inquiry about CNVio vs CNVio2, for us to be able to provide the most accurate response, please provide the complete model of your Intel® NUC.

Or, please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

Your answer isn't helpful, please answer with "yes AMT should work" "no AMT will not work" or "we can' tell if AMT will work".

So the answer to my original question "Hi, is it possible to upgrade the WiFi card of an Intel NUC and keep the vPro functionality?" is no?

At this point the question I have, if the above is true which is the correct device to purchase the AX211 AX411, what are the key differences if both devices are compatible with the NUC11.

MarkMRT, I just received an update on this matter.

The short answer is that we don't recommend upgrading the WiFi adapters with adapters that have not been validated for a given Intel® NUC.

If the adapter is not on the validation list it may not work, also, testing and validation (including WiFi certification) would be the responsibility of the user of the product:
