AX201 and AX211 compatible?

Hello, I have an asus rog strix g17 with cpu i710750H, I had an intel ax201 mounted, I decided to upgrade my network card to Intel AX211 because I saw that it was compatible with the chipset. Once mounted it does not work but is recognized as a network controller and bluetooth with a triangle and an error code 54. I would like to understand how I can solve this problem.

As each country may have different regulatory requirements, before you install/change the Intel® Wireless Adapter in a system, you must contact the system manufacturer to determine if the Intel® Wireless Adapters you plan to install are approved for use in your system and country. Negative, Intel AX211 requires Intel 600 series chipset. 400, 500 series chipsets wont work-only use AX201, old news. Intel released the AX211 before it was compatible with laptops on the market, big marketing error. When buying a laptop make sure the chipset is what your want before you buy, the bling of processors should not be your only consideration. I have seen several laptops with 12th Gen Intel processors and not 600 series chipset, they cannot upgrade as well using AX201, AX211-Wifi-6E with intel processors require 600 series chipset and cnvio2 connector.

Ok, thanks for the info. My chipset is 400 series so not compatible with AX211.

Do you advise me which wifi card to take to eliminate the problem I have with the AX201 card?

I'm using the Intel AX201 WiFi card as well and have 400 series chipset. I researched the whole issue and found out and returned the AX211 card I bought before I installed it. The AX 201 is plenty can accommodate up 2.4Gbs running at 160Mhz,,right now I'm connected at 1.2Gbs and very stable. 6E requires a 6E wifi card and 6E wifi router with 600 series chipset for Intel processors to run 6Ghz band, cost of which is ramped up for 6E wifi routers.

I'd stick with the Intel AX201 if your having problems with it do a clean install, then use Intel wifi software/drivers-latest version of driver. Delete network ect, right down password to your wifi router which should be a wifi 6 router, many around for not too much money.
