Yes, that was indeed the problem. I'm not home free yet, but I'll start a new thread for the different problem. Thanks!

I have an Intel 5300 installed into my Dell Mini 9 running Windows 7 and the 13.0.0.0 Intel drivers. I selected the custom install to include My WiFi. I can enable MyWiFi and it says it is enabled, but the "access point" is not visible to other devices, such as my iPhone. Other than this, the 5300 works fine and I am very happy with it. Is there something I'm missing in the setup?

If you are connected to a 5GHz Access Point your My WiFi PAN will assume the Channel and Band of the 5GHz AP. in that case, your iPhone won't see the My WiFi PAN becuase the PAN is in 5GHz and your iPhone only has a 2.4GHz radio.

That could indeed be the issue. I will test that and reply. Thanks!
