For the past 6 months I keep getting disconnected from the wifi all day long. I just moved and upgraded Verizon modems so I thought the problem would go away but it continues.

I have to keep restarting my laptop or repeatedly re-enable the driver. Please help. I can't work this way.

1. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?
I haven't made any changes. I bought it directly from Lenovo. I worked at 3 or 4 different offices in the past couple of years, but not in the last year.

2. How often does the disconnection occur? Everyday. If I walk away from my computer for a few hours. Definitely any time after it has entered sleep mode. I wake up computer, see it's not connected to wifi and try to connect, it will never work-- I always have to do Device Manager fix.

3. Is the problem specific to your laptop? Yes. Ipad, apple tv, cell phone, other people's laptops are fine.

4. What is the consistency of the Wi-Fi signal strength? Perfect on my other devices. [as I mentioned at had identical problem at my previous house with different modem]

5. Can you provide details about the upgraded modem and router? Verizon modem SKU CR1000A

6. Have you updated the Wi-Fi driver on your laptop? It says its up to date.

7. Are there any error messages associated with the disconnections? No, it just won't connect. It tries to.

8. Did the issues start after the move or modem upgrade? No, I had the identical problem, every day, at my previous house and with a previous modem. The previous modem was an old Verizon modem. My biggest fear (nightmare) is that when I get a gig (I travel with my computer but not my modem) I still have this problem and this will be extremely bad for my career.

9. Have you contacted your ISP about the problem? I did before but now it can not be denied that all of my non-intel devices perform flawlessly. Also, it appears that this will ALWAYS fix the problem 1) I go to Device Manager; 2) Uninstall Intel (R) Wifi 6 AX201 160MHz; 3) "Scan for hardware changes". Then I can connect. This fix takes too much time and I am afraid that someday it won't work since I'm not really figuring out the problem.

10. Can you test the laptop on a different Wi-Fi network? I did one time and it had the same problem.

11. Have you reviewed and adjusted any advanced Wi-Fi or power settings on your laptop? Yes, they are not the issue.
