Hi there,

I would like to bring to attention that the Intel AX200 seems to have out-of-date regulatory information in its firmware.

Since 2019, Indonesia now allows channels 36-40 to be used in addition to the original 149-161 on the 5 Ghz band, but it's not updated yet on Intel's side. We can't discover any networks on channels 36-40. We are using the latest available Windows 11 driver 23.30.0.6, and have also tried with Linux microcode iwlwifi-cc-a0-77.ucode.

Can Intel update its regulatory database in the firmware/driver?

Thanks for responding, and appreciate your help here.

To be specific, the regulatory information/database I'm referring to exists within the firmware/driver. I have since upgraded to the latest Windows 11 driver 23.40.0: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18649/intel-wireless-bluetooth-drivers-for-windows-10-and-windows-11.html

This is the output from the "WiFi Analyzer" app on Android (Pixel 6):

On the other hand, this is the scan output of inSSIDer on the Intel AX200. Notice that the 5 GHz channel does not show the "Apartemen 1&2 5G" network.

What is the Router/AP model used and settings for Apartemen 1&2 5G?
What is the AX200 advanced setting for this hardware?
Is AX200 self-integrating or pre-installed?
