Dear Intel Support,

I have installed the BE200 WiFi card on my Dell Latitude 3420 laptop, which is running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. The WiFi functionality is working correctly, as confirmed by the "lspci" command. However, I am facing an issue with the Bluetooth functionality. Despite the WiFi being detected, there is no sign of the Bluetooth device when I run the “bluetoothctl list” command.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? Additionally, if there are any specific drivers or firmware updates required for the Bluetooth functionality of the BE200 card, kindly share the necessary details.

Just to confirm, you upgraded the wireless controller of your system?
Who installed the BE200?
Can you share the link of the driver that you used?

Hi Mike_Intel,

Please find the steps followed to install the module,

Downloaded the latest kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/6.8.0-11.11
and used dpkg tool to install it.

After rebooting, navigated to Advanced options for Ubuntu and Selected the kernel version 6.8.0-11-generic from the list.

Yes, We have upgraded the Wireless card to BE200, installation was done by our in-house IT team.

If you updated the Wireless card, you need to consult the manufacturer of the board or system first to check if it is compatible and if there are needed settings or configuration. Please check the link below for the Regulatory in upgrading the Wireless controller.

Yes, We are checking with the board vendor.

We have a another query on the subject.

We wanted to know is it possible to interface the BT function though PCIe along with WIFI instead of using USB in the M.2 due to limited availability of USB ports. if so is it possible through Linux driver update?

Thank you for your response. I recommend installing the latest stable version of the mainline kernel, 6.9, from kernel.org, which includes the latest wireless firmware for the Intel BE200, version 89.

Regarding the interface, I will discuss the possibility of having the BT functions through PCIe along with WiFi instead of using USB in the M.2 slot internally. I will provide an update in this post once more information is available.
