I can't find my pc hotspot if I turn it on 5Ghz. 2.4 GHz seems to work well. I used my PC hotspot before.

Also, I can't even use 5Ghz Wi-Fi from my router anymore, but I didn't bother as I was using ethernet for my PC and thought it was a router issue. But when I needed to share my internet through 5Ghz hotspots, I noticed this didn't work either. This ensures the problem is on the m.2 card (Intel AC 3168). Intel support assistant says I am using the latest version. installed these two drivers from Intel. Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Drivers for Wireless-AC 7265 (Rev.

My first thought when I hear of issues similar to this is whether the 5GHz antenna is unbroken and properly connected to the card.

...S

No, it doesn't seem like any broken or loose connection antenna. My PC is AMD 5600g with Gigabyte B550m ds3h AC motherboard. I used the 5Ghz hotspot last year if I recall.

Try swapping the antenna leads at the Wireless card. If you then have problems with 2.4GHz or Bluetooth, you will know that you have a bad antenna.

...S
