I am now trying 23.100.0.4 and on my 3rd clean installation of Windows's 11 Pro 24H2 (build 26100.2894)...

If I have my system (Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Formula MoBo, Intel 14900K CPU, 4x32 Gb sticks RAM - Kingston DDR5-4800 (2400 MHz) Part Number KF556C40-32, Asus 4600TI Nvidia graphics card, Samsung NVME 990 Pro 1Gb main drive and 4 990 Pro drives as D drive Setup with Rapid Storage Tech software (latest release) creating RAID 1+0 (10) array. Cooler Master radiator with Push/Pull Fan set (6 @ 320mm)

I had to disable Asus AI overclocking to eliminate BSOD from system that I felt was outside of Intel code domain. With This NEW Bluetooth Driver and system in standard clock speeds I am no longer BSOD....HOWEVER I cannot use my Bluetooth mouse and Keyboard (Logitech MX Keys and matching MX Master 3S mouse) about 30minutes after I walk away and system is idle - Bluetooth Radio connections are lost and ONLY work again when radio is turn off then back on. I have checked all Power Management systems an all are Unchecked (disabled) I have tried every BIOS setting relating to power management and still have this issue. It wasn't a problem with the Old 23.80.03 driver installed but never updated.

IF I let the OS update the bluetooth driver to ANY version other than the default 23.80.0.3 that came on the driver USB stick Asus supplied me with in box (motherboard box) I get this behavior....Once system is idle for x amount of time bluetooth devices loose connection and will not reconnect without turning off Bluetooth radio and turning it back on.....

Given this is a production system that runs my laser engraver(s)....I cannot have things stop working during engraving job of entire job becomes scrap.....

Please advise and I am willing to work with someone to debug this event.....

I have done yet another clean install of Windows 11 Pro 24H2 Bld # 26.100.2894
Reverted back to the only driver version Asus shows on their support site
Intel Wireless Bluetooth Driver Bld # 23.80.0.3 and as soon as I reboot (install wants a restart) I end up with update to 23.90.0.8 WHICH BLOODY FAILS TO MAINTAIN Bluetooth Device Connections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO Intel supplied driver works and I cannot roll back to the 23.80.0.3 driver. Win-BLOWS won't allow it....Further running the 23.90.0.8 version if where I started having problems with BSOD's and Bluetooth devices losing connection. I am no longer BSOD as I have turned my ham-strung my system to only running 90% of i9 14900K CPU capability. Mem-test shows all memory sticks 100% working and well within normal ranges. CPU and other items never get above 60º C due to extreme liquid cooling and numerous case fans to ensure far above needed cooling capabilities.

So Now I am unable to run my laser and my business is DEAD - I have lost every order I had. I am at precipice of Bankruptcy declaration due to this issue. Asus and I have confirmed hardware is working, Logitech and I have confirmed Keyboard and mouse are working as expected...I wish I would have never went with Intel CPU and hardware!! I feel like I should have jumped ship after being a loyal Intel supporter for over 25 years and went to AMD!!!!!!

Hi DrXtreme,

As per our investigation, you might need to check this with the laptop's manufacturer to further investigate as this could be a hardware or driver issue. Note that the driver from intel is only Generic drivers, it is still recommended to use OEM drivers specific for your computer model.

I will close this inquiry now. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Regards,

Jave Vincent A.

Intel Customer Support Engineer
