Intel AC 7265 - Intermittent WiFi after Anniversary Update

My wifi connection is intermittent after Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

My Network Adapter is Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265. My machine is a ASUS UX303UB. It crashes in all my wireless network (home, office) when all the others laptops in the network / home are working fine.

I tried to ping to ping my router and some times it generates time out. During all of this, I noticed something in the Event Viewer. Checking Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\WLAN-AutoConfig\Operational logs I noticed extremely weird behavior: during the WiFi hiccup/outage, it starts spewing out loops of "Wireless security stopped/started/succeeded." events with respective IDs of 11004/11010/11005.

It looks that is a common problem

I tried with the original driver and with the latest driver and I am having the problem with both.

We understand you computer is showing connectivity issues after installing the Windows® 10 Anniversary Update. Please try the following actions to discard issues from the adapter's side:

- Install the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26171/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windows-10?product=83635 Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10, version 19.1.0.

- Apply the configuration from the advisory: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005544.html Recommended Settings for 802.11n Connectivity.

The Microsoft* document you provided suggests other possible causes, such as outdated firmware in the Router, so you might want to update the firmware of it.

For any additional assistance let us know the following information:

- Access Point model and Firmware version.

- Download https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility Intel® System Support Utility, run the tool and use it to create and save a report with all sections, then add your reply to this thread and use the Advanced editor options to attach the resulting file to your post.

This is the result from the Driver Update Utility, that shows that I am using the latest version of the driver.

I also check the suggested configuration and the problem persists.

The problem is happenning in any network (home, work). And others laptops in the network are working fine (they are not lossing packages when pinging the router)

Hello,

When you open the box to reply a message, in the top-right of the text box is the option "Use advanced editor", after you click there, one of the tools available in this mode is "Insert image":

Also, can you confirm if this was working fine before? and how did not you notice the issue after the Windows* Anniversary Update?
