Hi SAK1,

I'm following up on the investigation I had conducted. Upon checking, Auracast is a feature enabled by LE Audio, allowing an audio source to broadcast one or multiple audio streams to an unlimited number of receivers.

Intel® Wireless and Bluetooth® Adapters support a wide range of codecs. However, the operating system (OS) utilizes these codecs natively on the respective peripherals, not the adapter itself. Therefore, if you encounter any issues or have further inquiries about "codec support," we recommend contacting Microsoft Technical Support.

For more information, you can refer to the following articles:

Bluetooth™ Profiles Supported by Intel® Wireless Adapters

Bluetooth LE (BTLE) Audio Infographic

Intel Bluetooth® Technology

Should you have other questions or concerns, please create a new thread as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards,

Jed G.

Intel Customer Support Technician

HP not interested in producing a driver.

Where can I get such a driver, single-point broadcast, OK for now. Would prefer not to dongle but will if necessary.

Thanks.
