WI-FI doesn´t start automatically at logon when I have an ethernet connection

I Have recently updated my Wi-Fi adapter to Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160 Mhz, driver 23.100.0.4.

When I start my computer that has an ethernet cable connection to internet, the wi-fi doesn´t start even though the setting is to start automatically. I has worked earlier but after reinstalling windows it doesn´t work. I need wifi to connect to my privat network/router/printer.

What can I do? I have tried Co-pilot tip but ythe codes it suggest doesn´t work

When I start my pc I h ave an ethernet cable connected. I did configure windows to log me in immediately without having to type a password. Perhaps this could be the issue. I have no problem starting wifi after starting/loging in to my pc, but i need to do it manually. Thed script I use now has a delay stamp which makes it work. If I dont set a delay stamp, the script doesnt work. As a beginner I think that is the problem, the wifi adapter doesnt start automatically without the time stamp.

I have not tested if it works if I remove the automatic log on to windows at startup ( not sure how to do that), but I want the automatic logon, I am the only user.

There is no logs or yellow marks in device manager

Given that Windows is configured for automatic login, it's possible that the Wi-Fi adapter has not fully initialized by the time your script executes. The delay included in your script likely accounts for this, providing sufficient time for the adapter to initialize before the script proceeds.

Kindly try the following:

1. In the search box, type Services.msc to open the Services window, which shows all the local services running on your system. Enable the Wired-Autoconfig Service (set it to Automatic or Manual) and click Apply.

2. Try using driver version 23.90.0 to see if there are any improvements or changes.

3. Reset the network by following these commands:

Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands one by one:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

4. Reset the network settings in Windows. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.

5. Ensure that the option to allow the computer to turn off the device to save power is unchecked.

6. Follow the recommendations in the "Recommended Settings for 802.11ax Connectivity" article.

Also, I would like to know if you're connecting to a home or company network. Have you tried using a different access point?

It´s far to much work for me for now, to do allt the steps you recommend withou being sure it will work.

I am on a home network with an asus router, but my ethernet cable is connected directly to the fiber modem. My wifi is connected to the router. I will settle with my script for now
