Intel BE200 on linux not connecting to Ruckus R770 WiFi7 AP

Hello from Freedom Telecom RnD department
As WISP we are testing WiFi AP's of many manufacturers
I use Intel BE200 on PC and RPI 5
On Windows works almost fine but on Linux we can't get any stable work
Ubuntu 24.04 , 24.10 kernel 6.11
I installed latest firmware-iwlwifi, network manager, wpa_supplicant and not able to connect Ruckus R770 AP on WiFi7 band at all
I see SSID but getting failures getting SME: Authentication requst to the driver failed

I can provide any information that you need

Also I have problems with Ruijie APs looks like channel sync fails on Upload and Download sometimes not able to connect on high channels, multiple devices fails to communicate

Thank you for posting this concern. For me to help you with this issue, kindly check the Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Linux*.

And to further assist you, kindly provide a result of SSU for me to check your system information.

Download Intel® System Support Utility.*

Scan: Check the box Everything.

Click Scan.

Review: When finished scanning, click Next.

Click Save.

Lastly, did you receive any error messages? If yes, kindly provide a screenshot of it.

Good day!

I have replicated this issue on my end using our laboratory, first kindly install the latest (and stable) version of the mainline kernel, 6.13, from kernel.org, which includes the latest wireless firmware for the Intel BE200.

If the issue still persists after the update, kindly follow the steps below:

Rejecting non-HE 6/7 GHz connection, HE is not advertised on 6855 MHz.
Unknown parameter 'lar_disable'
Disabling HT/VHT/HE as WMM/HE is not supported by the AP.

We're experiencing the same challenge connecting to Ruckus R770 WiFi7 AP using BE200 on

ubuntu/24.10 (arm64) linux
6.11.0-1007-raspi
Firmware version: 92.67ce4588.0 gl-c0-fm-c0-92.ucode

I'll work on trying this now.

We're also seeing 2 other issues that we'd like to investigate/resolve:

1) We're seeing the system crash on some devices when under heavy wifi traffic (for example when performing an internet speed test)

2) We're seeing the wifi card not be visible on reboot after a kernel panic

Are you able to provide any guidance/recommendations on how we should go about investigating #1 and #2 and who we should try to escalate them to?
