Numerous devices in Device Manager's 'Other Devices'

I recently purchase a new PC using Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite Wifi.

I notice in Device Manager there are several device listed under "Other Devices" that seem to point to my Intel connections.

I am totally confused on how to remedy these devices and Gigabyte isn't much help. Could someone look over the attach files and give me some direction as to what I am seeing and how to remedy the "Other Devices"

Download the latest wireless drivers: https://intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-and-windows-11-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html

Download the latest Bluetooth drivers: https://intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18649/intel-wireless-bluetooth-for-windows-10-and-windows-11.html

As well, please make sure you have the latest BIOS firmware installed and that there are no pending Windows updates.

I performed every step you suggested and still no resolve.

I updated the BIOS to F36 (most current)

I opened Device Manger and uninstall all drivers in the BT Devices, Wifi Devices, and Other Devices.

I ran the dowloaded .exe files; WiFi-22.110.1-Driver64-Win10-Win11 & BT-22.110.2-32-64UWD-Win10-Win11

The Wifi and BT devices still return the Other Devices.

Are these Other Devices part of the Intel onboard system? Can you decipher the Hardware Id's listed?

This is frustrating. Apparently you didn't read my post. I replied that I performed the recommended procedures. Apparently these Other Devices (with the exception of one) are Intel devices built-in the motherboard. I was assuming that Intel Technical Support would be able to decipher the Hardware Id code and direct me to the proper drivers.

When you respond back with "Were you able to check the previous post" that gives me the impression you didn't read my response to the previous post. I wrote;

Hhmmm, after installing Windows, the first thing you should have done is install the Chipset Device Software package. Sounds like you didn't. A version of this specific to your motherboard should be offered for download on your motherboard manufacturer's website.

As you were able to notice, the posts are not showing up in the proper order, and that is why it is causing a delay in response. It is not that I did not read the message, it just was not there when I checked the thread.

The Chipset has been updated AMD Chipset Driver 3.10.11.706. No difference in Device Manger's Other Devices. This is so frustrating, upgrading to a new PC.

The only device I have connected to my PC right now is BT Arc Touch Mouse SE and it seems to be working.

My Chipset has been updated (see attached)

According to Intel Driver & Support Assistant

Intel® Wireless-AC 9260 160MH - Driver Detail (UpToDate) - version; 22.120.1.9

Intel® I211 Gigabit Network Connection - Driver Detail (nothing) - version; 12.18.11.1

Intel® Wireless Bluetooth - Driver Detail (UpToDate) - version; 22.120.0.3

It's a shame that Intel Driver & Support Assistant only allows a report to be saved in a web format and this forum doesn't accept a web form document as an attachment...go figure.

This is an Intel driver issue and I would expect Intel to be able to figure out what and why there are so many devices in the Device Manager Other Devices section.

Any new information? The issue still exist. AMD Chipset is updated, Intel drivers are updated. Still I have numerous devices seemly related to Intel in Device Manager's Other Devices.

No, no, forget IDSA for now; send us the information from Device Manager. Expand the Other list and get the PCI identification information for the devices that are not being resolved.

Frankly, IDSA was not designed to support AMD-based systems and may not do enough for you to make it worth your while. In fact, if all we are talking about is LAN and WLAN, these are going to be handled by Windows Update pretty well.

It's a root category in Device Manager, just like Network Adapters, Monitors, Display Adapters, etc. Not seeing one is a good thing.

If you have devices in the Other category, it is not necessarily a bad thing; there are some device types that simply do not fit in any other category. On my machine, for example, I have AudioWear and AudioWear Voice entries that showed up with the connection of my Sony BT headphones. In your case, with the Ear Buds and iPhone connected, all sorts of additional - and indeed Other category - devices have been identified. From your original Other list, the only concerning entry I see is the one for the WD USB drive that has the yellow bang on it.
