Driver for Quick Share with Wifi AC 8265

Hi, I have a Dell 7390 laptop, which has a Dual Band AC-8265 wifi module and I have installed the latest 20.70.32.1 drivers (latest supported), but in order to use Quick Share, at least version 22.50.07 or more recent drivers must be installed
I ask you, if I installed from the "Intel" site, the latest 23.110.0 (even if my wifi module is not present in the supported products) could work or do I risk doing damage?

Before we proceed, please be advised that Intel provides generic versions of software and drivers.

Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes.
If you have an OEM device, contact Computer Manufacturer Support Websites for best driver compatibility with your system.

To answer your question, driver version 23.110.0 is not compatible with your Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265. It will not cause damage if you install this however, it may give you error and may not complete installation at all. The latest driver we have for Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 on our Download Center is version 20.70.32.1.

Please confirm if this is your exact Dell laptop: Dell Latitude 7390. if so, you can download and install the latest OEM driver version 22.130.0.5 (highly recommended) from this link. Find Drivers (Select drivers) > choose your operating system > then look for "Network, Ethernet & Wireless", and select 8265. This may work with Quick share. I still recommend contacting your system manufacturer support team for further assistance.

Sorry Jeanette...I've been busy at work...I did as you suggested, installing the drivers you recommended (OEM 22.130.0.5), but if I go to "device management", I read that the old ones always appear (20.70.32.1)and not the updated ones...so obviously QuickShare continues to tell me to update the drivers and give me an error message

I confirm that the laptop in my possession is a Dell Latitude7390.

You may download and install the latest OEM driver version 22.130.0.5 (highly recommended) from this link. Find Drivers (Select drivers) > choose your operating system > then look for "Network, Ethernet & Wireless", and select 8265. This may work with Quick share. I suggest you follow the instructions for the clean installation of the wireless drivers using the driver version mentioned above.

Good day.

Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 is EOL and the last driver version is 20.70.32.1 from Intel Download Center.

I highly suggest clean removed 20.70.32.1 then install with OEM latest driver version 22.130.0.5. If you have issue installing the OEM driver, please contact hardware OEM support.
