Is 6 GHz disabled?

The 6 GHz band isn't showing for the Wi-Fi 6E AX211. How can I see if its been disabled in BIOS or the firmware?

To better understand the issue and provide an effective recommendation, please share the following key information:

Was the 6GHz band previously detected, and is it only recently not being detected?
If so, what changes were made before the issue arose? (Such as hardware additions, setting adjustments, system updates, driver updates, OS updates, etc.)
To help isolate the issue, can your system still connect to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands?
Are there other devices that can still detect and connect to your AP's 6GHz band?
Please re-share the SSU log file, ensuring you "select ALL" before scanning. Attach the updated log file in your reply.

Thanks for getting back to me.

The 6 GHz band has never been detected on this laptop.
no changes
I can connect to 2.4 and 5 GHz
Other devices can see 6 GHz
I have run the System Support Utility again with everything selected.

The article lists the requirements for the 6 GHz band, but doesn't say how to enable it (even though that is the title of the article). Strange.

Hello SGoodman,

The use of the 6GHz band may be prohibited by regulatory bodies in your country or might not be enabled on your platform by the system manufacturer. Confirm this with your system manufacturer before following next steps:

Ensure all of the below requirements are met to be able to connect to 6 GHz channels:

If a wireless card is manually installed, ensure that your system manufacturer has validated and approved its compatibility with 6 GHz.
Wi-Fi 6 devices support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and Wi-Fi 6E (or higher) devices support 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.
Wi-Fi 6 (or lower) devices do not support the 6 GHz band.
Ensure the Wireless router and PC are equipped with Wi-Fi 6E or higher standards for building a 6 GHz connection.
Use the latest Wi-Fi drivers for Intel Wireless adapters (version 23.130.1.1 or later.)
Ensure you are using the latest version of Microsoft Windows *11 OS. *Confirm this with Microsoft Support team.
