If this is correct, Norton's malware detection is likely a false positive. Since legitimate drivers from official pages typically don't contain malware, I recommend contacting Norton support to report this incorrect detection and get clarification on the alert.

2) Are you having wireless problems the reason why did you need this application? If yes, briefly discuss the issue you're having with so I can help further.

Today, Sept 30th, the Intel driver update assistant installed an uninfected driver update.
