Hi abdelrahman7991,

Based on your system information, I can see you're experiencing a Linux wireless connectivity issue with your Dell Latitude 5411.

To assist you effectively, please share the information below.

1. What is the full model of your wireless adapter?

2. Did you make any recent changes to the system?

3. Did Wi-Fi work in Ubuntu 22.04 before, or has it never worked?

I also recommend that you install the latest stable Kernel 6.19 which can be downloaded at The Linux Kernel Archives.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards

Jed G.

Intel Customer Support Technician

the wifi adapter model is: Intel Wireless AX201 WLAN WiFi 802.11ax.
I didn't do anything new to the system. I had windows 11 with working wifi. When I installed ubuntu 22 the wifi didn't work at all (still working on windows normally).
Note that, I tried ubuntu 20 and the wifi worked normally.

Hi abdelrahman7991,

Thank you for sharing all the requested information. To further troubleshoot the issue, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Ensure that you are using the latest stable version of the Linux kernel (version 6.19.13).

Kernel Download:

https://www.kernel.org/

2. Install the most up-to-date wireless firmware using the link below:

Firmware Download: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/intel/iwlwifi

Required firmware versions:

iwlwifi-Qu-b0-hr-b0-77

iwlwifi-Qu-c0-hr-b0-77

iwlwifi-QuZ-a0-hr-b0-77

You may also find our public articles helpful:

Intel® Wireless Card Not Detected in Linux*

Linux* Support for Intel® Wireless Adapters

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Jed G.

Intel Customer Support Technician

I installed Linux kernel (version 6.19.13) using mainline. Then cloned the linux-firmware repo, then I ran the following:
cd linux-firmware/intel/iwlwifi
sudo cp * /lib/firmware

Still nothing is working. Also I want to assure that there is an error when I read kernel messages:
sudo dmesg | grep iwlwi:
[42.412871] iwlwifi: probe of 0000:00:14.3 failed with error -110
Which is something related to loading the firmware to the wifi module (based on AI search)

Final note, it is working on windows 11 and ubuntu 20.04 and the dell latitude 5411 bios is the latest version

Hello JedG_Intel,

The problem was partially solved by installed very old kernel (5.15). But every once in a while the, when i turn on the laptop, the same problem appears again "There is no wifi adapter". But it is solved again as soon as i restart the laptop. So if there any better solution, please let me know. Thank you
