As soon as i try to play an Online game i got Network Issues and High-Latency.

Hi Timmypedia,

Thank you for reaching out to Intel Community Support and for providing such a detailed description of your experience!

We completely understand how frustrating it can be to experience high latency and network issues during online gaming, especially when the Wi-Fi works perfectly fine during normal browsing. We appreciate you sharing those ping results as well — it gives us a much clearer picture of what's happening.

Let's go ahead and try to get this sorted out for you! Please follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Perform a Clean OEM Driver Installation

We'd like to start by having you perform a clean installation of the OEM driver version 24.30.1.1 from the MSI support page: <LI-EMOJI id="lia_link" title=":link:"></LI-EMOJI> https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-Z790-P-WIFI/support#driver

Important: Please make sure to turn off your Wi-Fi before proceeding with the steps below.

Download and save the OEM driver version 24.30.1.1 from the link above before proceeding

Turn off your Wi-Fi before starting the uninstallation process

Open Device Manager → Network Adapters, right-click on the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211, select "Uninstall device", and check the box to delete the driver software → Repeat until its greyed out

Press Windows Key + R, type Cleanmgr.exe, and clear your Temporary Files

Restart your system while keeping Wi-Fi turned off

Install the Bluetooth driver first, then the Wi-Fi driver

Once installation is complete, restart your system and test by launching an online game

If Issue Persists using the OEM driver use the latest generic driver version 24.50

Please follow the same clean installation steps mentioned above when installing the generic driver.

If the issue continues even after trying both drivers, please help us gather more information by answering the following questions:

When did this issue first start occurring? Were there any recent changes made to your system prior to this? (e.g., Windows updates, driver updates, hardware changes)

Does this happen with all online games or only specific ones? If specific, which games?

Does the issue occur when connected to a different Wi-Fi network or band? (e.g., 2.4GHz vs 5GHz)

Have you tried using a wired/Ethernet connection to see if the issue still occurs?

Is this the original adapter or did you just self-integrate it?

Are there any other devices experiencing the same network issues on the same network?

Additionally, please provide us with your updated SSU logs after the clean installation.

Download the SSU tool here: <LI-EMOJI id="lia_link" title=":link:"></LI-EMOJI> https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

Run the application and allow it to fully scan your system

Once the scan is complete, click "Save" to export the generated report

Attach the updated report file to your reply so we can take a closer look

Please go through these steps and let us know how it goes! If you have any questions or need further assistance along the way, don't hesitate to reach out — we're always here to help!

We look forward to hearing from you!

Best regards

Jonzyl B.

Intel Customer Support Technician
