Hi @bdule41 ,

Thank you for posting in the Intel Community.

I understand that you're encountering the following error with the Intel Driver & Support Assistant (Intel DSA): "Sorry, something went wrong while trying to scan."

Since reinstalling Intel DSA did not resolve the issue, I'd like to first verify that your browser allows the local network access

required for Intel DSA to perform the scan.

If you're using Google Chrome:

Click the View site information icon (to the left of the address bar).

Enable Local Network Access.

Refresh the page and try scanning again.

If you're using Microsoft Edge:

Click the View site information icon (to the left of the address bar).

Under Local Network Access, select Allow.

Refresh the page and try scanning again.

If you do not see the Local Network Access option, you can configure it manually.

Google Chrome

Open Settings.

Navigate to Privacy and Security > Site Settings.

Under Permissions, select Additional permissions.

Open Local Network Access.

Add intel.com under the customized behaviors and set it to Allow.

Microsoft Edge

Open Settings.

Go to Privacy, Search, and Services > Site Permissions.

Select All Permissions.

Open Local Network Access.

Add intel.com under Allowed to connect to any device on your local network.

You can also refer to the following Intel support article for additional guidance: Error On Chrome* or Edge*: "Sorry, something went wrong while trying to scan"

Please let me know if the issue persists after trying the steps above. If it does, I'll continue investigating and determine the next appropriate troubleshooting steps.

Best Regards,
