I am using VTune to profle an application. When I have closed User processes and System Processes in Windows Task Manager what analysis showing in VTune is different from when I have closed only user process. So, I want to ask that should I close both System Processes and User Processes or only User processes. Please reply me as soon as possible...
Thanks In advance

As I replied to you in other thread, other user processes and system processes will consume CPU time...so if you can close some high CPU usage processes (unused) - that will be fine.
Another suggestion is to use VTune Amplifier XE command line instead of GUI, sometime reduce overhead caused by the tool.
Thanks, Peter

Another reminder is to invoke amplxe-gui or amplxe-cl as administrator - so highly accurate CPU time fordata collector will be used, that is for user-mode data collection (hotspots analysis, concurrency analysis, locksandwaits analysis). -Peter
