Definition of the words used in the "Counter Monitor"

Well, my question is a little bit stupid, so...

In the "Counter Monitor", there is many words like "System : Threads", "Memory : Commit Limit". I don't understand some ofthem and my evaluation period is finished. So, Is on the internet a list of all of these ?

I guess the best source of information about MS Windows Performance Counters subsystem is MSDN. And of course google "performance counter site:microsoft.com"
