We are using Cyclone-10 LP (10CL055YF484I7G) in one of our products. When we use Micron Flash MT25QL128 and program the JIC file for this, it works fine.
But in one of the HW we have replaced the flash with Infineon S25FL128LAGMFI013 and generated the JIC for the same. When we try to program using JIC it throws the following error:
Error (209025): Can't recognize silicon ID for device 1. A device's silicon ID is different from its JTAG ID. Verify that all cables are securely connected, select a different device, or check the power on the target system. Make sure the device pins are connected and configured correctly.
HW pin mapping wise both the part numbers are the same. Please let us know what could be the possible reason for this issue and also if we have some resolution for the same.
Note: tried with Quartus 24.1std, 18.1 Lite tools

If the following flash part S25FL128 is selected then the error is
Error (209025): Can't recognize silicon ID for device 1. A device's silicon ID is different from its JTAG ID. Verify that all cables are securely connected, select a different device, or check the power on the target system. Make sure the device pins are connected and configured correctly.
If the custom device is selected the new error introduced is
Error (19106): Blank-Check failed on flash 1 at address 0x00000000
The examine is successful in this case. Where the readback file shows there are few 0's instead of F's .
