Did anybody install the remote agent and had no problem with it?
If so can explain me what to do.
Thanks.

When the linux remote agent works as it should, there is relatively little to it.
Expand the rdc tar file on your target system.
Install kernel source which agrees with the kernel you are running, if on a linux system.
Run the install everything script.
Agree to everything it suggests, including checking the selection of kernel source, if any, and making the users who will run the agent members of the vtune group.
The installation script will not build a kernel, so there isn't any alteration of your installed system.
reboot may be required
start up the vtserver which was installed on your target system.

You may have to disable firewalls between the systems.

If you don't have a supported kernel, it gets more complicated. You may have to find a kernel source from which you can build a running kernel, which is compatible with the rdc.

It's been a while since I ran a Windows remote agent. The idea is generally the same.

If you have specific problems, you may have to file an issue on premier.intel.com.
