All the issues , I m reporting are associated with platform profiler . Kindly help asap

target details - Centos 7 

Vtune profiler version - 2021.6.0

Docker being used with k8s with Centos 7 and 8 , both having same versions of docker . I can only see this error in Centos7 , not in 8

Hi Karan,

I'm clarifying with developers the requirement to have kernel 4.1 and higher for profiling in a Docker container. For now please consider to use Centos* 8 or profile natively.

Hi Karan,

I got information from developers: this is expected behavior. For the Docker container Process ID mapping they use functionality which is available for Linux kernel 4.1 and higher. We will update VTune Profiler documentation.
