V-Tune collection log and debug information for libtpsstool.so

Running analyses with VTune, I keep getting in the collection log warning:

"Cannot locate debugging information for file '/opt/intel/oneapi/vtune/2022.0.0/lib64/libtpsstool.so'."

What does that mean for the analyses and how can that be corrected?

Hi.

Thanks for posting in Intel communities.

Warning messages from your output are about system and VTune modules. You can ignore them if you are not interested in profiling system functions.

Debugging information (PDB files on Windows* and DWARF format on Linux*) for applications and system modules is not generally available on the system by default. Missing debug information is not critical to performance analysis but prevents Intel® VTune™ Profiler from providing full-scale statistics on call stacks, source data, and so on.

Please see the below link for more information.
