Will VTune 6.1 work on Vista?

I was wondering if VTune 6.1 would work on Vista or not.

Absolutely not! 6.1 is years old now and no one had even heard of Windows* XP at that time. Current released version is 8.0. You can always review the list of supported operating systems in the Release Notes. These are available online at http://www.intel.com/cd/software/products/asmo-na/eng/219327.htm, and as part of the product installation.

Microsoft Windows* Vista* RTM will be supported in an upcoming release. Currently, up to RC2 is supported by the 8.0.2 beta VTune analyzer, available to all registered customers.
