I installed vtune and icc (icpc) on fedora fc6.
Later on I installed wine.
I got a conflict with DCOM.
I looked up which packet had a dependency on DCOM.
None showed up, so I removed it.
Then I tried to use vtune.
ntd not running.
I tried to install DCOM again, failed due to conflicting dependencies with wine.
I removed wine.
Installed DCOM.
But now the DCOM user is sag and not vtunesag.
1) there is a dependency missing in the vtune (x86_64) package.
2) does anybody know how to change the ntd user sag to vtunesag
kind regards,
Feike Boomstra

Hi,
VTune doesn't work with wine package installed. VTune install checksif wine is in the systemand issues a warning prior to installing its components.
To correctly install DCOM you need to reinstall VTune from the beginning.
You can submit the issue with missing package dependency to IntelPremier Support (find Tools&Resources->Support link on this page and thengo toIntel Permier Support).
